National Seafood Survey - Processing
BIM conducts an annual processing survey in which all processors are requested to submit economic and operational details for their previous year’s activity.

The data is grouped into broad processing categories and the information submitted in aggregated format to the EU in accordance with EU Data Collection Implementing Decision and Regulation ((EU) 2016/1251, table 11, and (EU) 2017/1004). This economic information on the operation of the Irish Processors helps to inform European fisheries managers and policy makers and all data is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality.

How do we collect the data?
The data is collected in a survey form. Please save the form to your computer before completing. When you have completed the form you can press the submit button which will prompt you to email the form.
